Changing the Controller Cache Setting for a Logical Device

For each logical device, you can enable or disable the read cache and write cache of the RAID controller on which the logical device is installed.

Caution! Before you change a cache setting, be sure that you fully understand the implications of the new setting.

Note! To improve performance in read-intensive applications, use the maxCache-compatible Solid State Drives (SSDs) in your system as a fast read cache pool. For more information, see Configuring maxCache Read Caching.
